Train Your AI Agent
Give your agent accurate knowledge with Knowledge Sets — typed content, website URLs, files, media, Google Sheets and API data — and restrict topics it should never discuss.
An AI agent is only as good as what you teach it. Knowledge is added in the agent's editor (AI → Agents → pencil icon) and stored in a Knowledge Set.
Knowledge Sets#
Choose Select Existing to reuse a knowledge set, or Create New. Sources you add are saved into the selected set, so several agents can share the same business knowledge.
Source types#
| Source | Best for |
|---|---|
| Content | FAQs, policies, fees, timings — typed clearly by you |
| URL | Pages from your website. You can target part of a page by ID, Class or Tag |
| File | PDFs and documents: brochures, price lists, course details |
| Media | Images or other media the agent can share |
| Google Sheet | Price lists or stock that change often — update the sheet and the agent stays current |
| API | Live data such as order status, using one of your HTTP API integrations |
Click Save Agent after adding sources.
Write knowledge the AI can use#
- Use question-and-answer format for FAQs:
Q: Do you deliver to Kottakkal? A: Yes, free delivery within 15 km of Tirur for orders above ₹500. Delivery within 3 hours.
- One fact, one place. Conflicting prices in two documents confuse the agent.
- Remove outdated content as soon as something changes.
Restricted topics#
In AI → AI Configuration → Behavior & Restrictions, list topics the agent must not discuss (competitor prices, medical advice, legal guarantees) and set the Response for Restricted Keywords, such as: "I can't help with that here — let me connect you with our team."
Test with the ten questions customers ask most. If any answer is wrong, the fix is almost always in the knowledge, not the instructions.
